Craps For Advanced Players

We always feel great to play for higher stakes than we were days before.  After few days of betting small in craps, you want to play the “big man role” by making high risk bets.  If it sounds like you, keep reading.

Craps is one of the most popular games in any casino, as any such visitor may have noticed by the large hovering crowds and uproarious activity surrounding a Craps table.

Each reflective diagram exposes the most familiar bets at each end of the table. These are Pass/Don't Pass, Come/Don't Come, Field Bets, Place Bets and the Big 6/Big 8 Bets. Each of these is regarded as Sequence Bets, because they may continue in play until the anticipated sum is turned over, or the bet is lost.

In the middle of the Craps Table are Single-Roll Bets, or Proposition Bets. These are bets that are won or lost in a single roll of the dice. These bets are less usually placed in Craps to easily access for all players. As an advanced player, you should know the Bet Types and Payouts. Single-Roll Bets include Hardway Bets, Any Craps and Any Seven.

Any Seven:
A bet on Any Seven is a bet that a 7 will turn next, in any grouping of numbers (1+6, 2+5, and 3+4). It pays 4to1

Any Craps:
A stake on Any Craps is a bet that any Craps number (2, 3 or 12) will turn over next.
It pays 7to1.

Hardway Bets:
Hardway Bets, as the term means, are hard bets to win at a Craps Table. Nevertheless, they offer high Payouts. Hardway denotes that the preferred number will be rolled in an exact combination, or 'the hard way'. For instance, a Hardway 8 would be 4+4; Hardway 6 is 3+3, etc. The different Hardway Bets, that can be achieved, are given with their respective Payouts as follows:
Hardway 2+2 or 5+5 - Pays 7to1
Hardway 3+3 or 4+4 - Pays 9to1

Horn Bets:
Horn Bets are similar to Hardway Bets, but for that there is only one way to roll them, hence it's not just the 'hard way', it's the only way. These consist of 2 (1+1), 3 (1+2), 11 (5+6) and 12 (6+6). The Horn Bets Payouts are given below.
1+1 or 6+6 - Pays 30to1
1+2 or 5+6 - Pays 15to1

4-Way Horn Bet:
A '4-Way Horn Bet' is a bet on all 4 Horn Bets (1+1, 1+2, 5+6 and 6+6). The bet is categorized into 4 with the same Payouts as the respective Horn Bets. For instance, a $16 bet would actually be a $4 bet on each likely Horn Bet, similar to the Horn Bet Payout Table for each winning roll.
