How to bet?
Some bets are made before the come out.
Some bets are made after the come out.
Every bet has:
Natural win
Loss
Points
About Points:
For example, come out 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 called points. If you get points you have to roll again.
When you are rolling for points you will again roll a natural win number or loss number or a point number again.
If you roll another point before you roll a 7 in the point roll, you win; however, if you roll a 7 before another point comes then you loose.
Special Rule for Number 7:
Rolling 7 first in the “come out” roll is the winner.
Rolling 7 in any other roll (point roll) is loser.
Summary of Bets:
For each of the bets natural win, loss or point plays are applicable accordingly; however, for proposition bets, point rolls are not applicable, it is a bet made on what will come next.
Each bets differ in the natural win, loss and point values applicable. When you learn how to play craps understanding the values for natural win, loss and point values for each kind of bet is important.
