How to play roulette

Roulette is perhaps one of the most familiar games in the gambling world. The rules to play roulette are very simple and only thing you should know is to learn the betting strategies of the game to bet smartly to win the game.
Initially, start the game by buying chips from the dealer. The values may be different, however mostly, each chip is worth one dollar. You lay your bet and the game of roulette really gets going. The dealer spins the wheel and a ball is made to roll beside the outer rim in the opposite direction. The Roulette wheel is numbered 1-36 (usually half are red and half are black) and two green numbers, normally 0 and 00. Each number has a pocket for the ball to drop in and as the wheel comes to rest. The ball halts in one of the pockets. The payout depends on where the ball landed and how many players have bet in that round.
The bets are classified into two groups, namely, inside bets and outside bets. You can bet in whatever combination or arrangement you desire. Inside bets are the numbers on the internal area of the roulette table layout, where you place bets for each specific number. Around the outside of the board lie a number of other betting options, and these are known as outside bets.
Outside bets:
The outside bets are the bets that are 'outside' of the main playing area of 37 numbers. There are no winning outside bets for ‘0’ results. The different types of outside bets are as follows:
