Roulette for Professional Players
Professional roulette play is associated with progressive betting approaches. Progressive betting is not the only betting strategy, which professionals employ in their play. There are other approaches in the play.
The most commonly used progressive betting patterns are:
- Grand martingale roulette betting system.
- Capped martingale or dynamic roulette betting system.
Grand Martingale Betting System
The Grand Martingale betting system can be applied to roulette like they are applied in other kinds of betting games in casinos. In this system of betting, the stakes for betting are increased aggressively as opposed to the Conventional Martingale System. Aggression in the betting pattern is related to increasing the potential profit where in the bets are placed in numbers with higher payouts.
According to the Grand Martingale system, anytime you lose your bet, you will double your next bet in addition to one more Grand Martingale Unit. The Grand Martingale Unit (GMU) normally denotes the first bet size; however, based on the richness of your bankroll you can choose it to be your preferred size.
For instance if you make a $10 bet in the first bet and you loose the spin, the next bet you make will be ($10 x 2) + ($10) = $20 + $10 = $30. Per the Grand Martingale betting pattern, the betting stake will increase with each loss where in you are aiming to get back all that you lost until now in one massive big win. In the Conventional Martingale System, value of the GMU is kept at zero.
Capped Martingale System
The Capped Martingale System is where the player will set a personal restriction on their higher limits of betting for a certain number of double ups. According to this method, the player will double up for 4 times or for the “n” number of times they have decided to double. Regardless of whether they win or loose on their 5th spin bet, they will start the series of betting over again from their 5th spin.
The Capped Martingale can be coupled with the Grand Martingale based on the loss and wins, which show up with each spin. Professionals do not follow one method all the time, rather they combine and re-mix several approaches based on their instincts and experience guided expectation on what the random number generator will show up in the next spin.
