• The deuces (2) favor the players to substitute any desired value to arrive at a poker hand for winning.  The players should consider the Deuce card to be favorable and it is not advisable to discard the deuce if they get dealt with one.
• It should be remembered that wildcards are likely to mess up with regular poker mathematics of odds and outs; however, if you have a deuce you have the advantage of being able to replace the value you require to make a better hand.
• The kind of strategy and betting pattern you apply in deuces wild should be varied based on what kind of poker hand you are targeting to make.  There are situations where you can play with suited high cards, with a kind high etcetera.
